Watson worked at Croal Bryson while driving for Duncan. He stopped working as a driver when he got a job with the Post Office

Margaret Sykes
Throughout the heyday of Duncan Mackinnon Borders Dances, Margaret work ‘on the cloaks’ in venues including Haddington and Carlisle Market Hall. She was born in 1933 in Melrose, her maiden name being Margaret Bunyan. On leaving school at fifteen she worked in local tweed mills, before graduating to psychiatric nursing at Dingleton Hospital in the 1950s. Margaret left the area in 1972, and spent forty-four years in England and Isle of Man working as a qualified psychiatric nurse, before returning to Melrose in 2016 and where she continues to live.
The Photo shows Margaret with her Husband Paddy who also worked for Duncan.
