MacArts is a hugely atmospheric and highly adaptable space which can be hired and made bespoke whatever your ambition or budget. Our venue staff, Chris and Kate, will be on hand to help with all aspects of your event. There is a bar located in the main hall, and a kitchen / bar area in the rear hall.
Whatever you have in mind, we will be happy to discuss your requirements – including the layout of tables and chairs, provision of sound and lighting equipment, projectors, technical staff, arrangements for catering, and any other support you require. Capacity 300 standing / 150 seated Floor size 162m2 Stage size 24m2. 6m wide x 4m deep x 600mm high Rear Hall Capacity 80 standing / 40-60 seated depending on arrangement Floor 85m2 Mezzanine Located above the rear hall, and accessed by a staircase, this area is currently not in use as we have a music producer who is renting this as a studio on a temporary basis.
