BODKIN - 1970 - mid seventies

Mick Riddell - Guitar
Zeke Hume - Vocals
Bill Anderson - Bass
Dougie Rome - Hammond Organ
Dick Sneddon - Drums

After years of playing pop/rock covers Mick Riddell decided to move on to a heavier direction i.e. Progressive Rock. Bodkin recorded a 5 track EP in Falkirk produced by Jim West. Support highlights include Stone the Crows (Students Union, Edinburgh), Caravan, Wishbone Ash in Aberdeen and The Pretty Things in Seahouses. The night before the band performed as part of a NME competition at the Roundhouse, London. Unfortunately they didn't get through.
After the demise of Bodkin Mick continued to play in residencies and pubs around Scotland and still does to this day.
