Ray Telfer left for London to work for Melody Maker and then to Sounds.
Phil Rae left for London and New York to find fame and fortune as Jesse Rae .
Nor Dodds left for Spain.
Roy 'Zoosh' Ashby from Yetholm joined on lead guitar.
Alex Nisbet from Lauder joined on rythm guitar


Gus Townsend whose parents had the Border Hotel in Kirk Yetholm joined as lead singer.
'Deg' Laidlaw left and was replaced by Colin 'Cherry' Purves on drums.
