The End formed from the embers of the Jaguars to played throughout the UK under Duncan Mackinnon Promotions supporting the likes of The Who (Carlisle Market Hall), Band of Joy (Victoria Hall, Selkirk), The Searchers, The Troggs, Georgie Fame (Volunteer Hall, Gala) and The Steampacket at Selkirk. Various members of these groups went on to become hugely successful in the 1970s.
The End had Kaftans hand sewn by one of Duncan Mackinnon's neighbours (The local press featured a photo)
