The Informers were a 1960s band from Peebles .
 
Bryan Brockie (drums|)
Colin Hamilton (lead guitar)
Bob Harvey (bass guitar)
Eric Bogle (vocals)  Max Aikman took over Vocal duties when Eric left
Brian Todd (rhythm guitar)
 
Singer Eric Bogle,  emigrated to Australia some years later. He is best known for his songs ‘No Man’s Land’ (aka The Green Fields of France) and ‘And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda’.
